After half a century...........she updates.

Encouraging thoughts God shared with me today..........

Isaiah 55:7-11

Vs. 7) Let the wicked forsake his way,
      And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
      Let him return to the LORD,
      And He will have mercy on him;
      And to our God,
      For He will abundantly pardon.

Vs. 8)“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
      Nor are your ways My ways,” says the LORD.

 Vs. 9)“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
      So are My ways higher than your ways,
      And My thoughts than your thoughts.

 Vs. 10) “ For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven,
      And do not return there,
      But water the earth,
      And make it bring forth and bud,
      That it may give seed to the sower
      And bread to the eater,

Vs. 11)  So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
      It shall not return to Me void,
      But it shall accomplish what I please,
      And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

It's amazing how many things can change in 6 months (since of course I don't update consistantly....).  To mention a few....

1. Winter has established itself.

2. New computer systems at work. (random)

3. A beautiful new neice was born. "Bradey Kathleen" (will post pictures later.)

Many things to be thankful for!  God is good to us!

Have a Merry Christmas!

The mighty power of GOD!

"(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty though God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;"  2 Corinthians 10:4-5

The incredible power that we have been given through our Lord is amazing!  He has been in existance for forever and He offers us True Life every day!  He created us, He knows everything about us (right down to how many hairs are on our heads!!!), He loves us UNCONDITIONALY, He longs for us to "Cast evey care upon Him" (revised) because He cares for us so much!

What a privelege to be able to hold on to our Father's hands through every journey of life!  We don't have to walk alone!  He is right there just waiting for us to lean of Him!  He is just great!

No matter what your facing just remember that YOU ARE NOT ALONE!  God is just waiting for you to take His hand!

Have a super day!

Happy Easter!

When I think about the tremendous amount of love Jesus had for us as sinners I can't help but stand in awe of Him!
In church on Wednesday night we studied the crucifixion of Christ.  We meditated on the cries of Jesus on the cross.  There was one saying that stuck out to me the most and as I continued to think about it, it touched my heart like it never had before.

"It is Finished!" He had a mind set that He would save each one of us before he went "home" again!  Every day He would show His love to every person He passed in the street.  Some of them responded with hearts of total surrender, while others responded with nothing but hatred and disrespect.

From being arrested in Gethsemene to being beaten until He could not help but shake uncontrollably in pain to stumbling up the hill to Golgotha to hanging on the cross separated from the Father ("My God, my God! Why have you forsaken me?") because of the sin of the world that He willingly took on His shoulders, He cried out "IT IS FINSHED"!  He had accomplished what He had came for! THE LOVE HE HAD AND STILL OFFERS TO US IS THE MOST AMAZING GIFT YOU COULD BE GIVEN!

Today I'm with Jake at work! Yeeeahah! Lovin him more every day!   Havin' so much fun! We bombed around deliverin' equipment for a while then we cruised back to the shop.  So while he goes about his "duties" I sit here, lazy as a bum, updating!    Gotta love it!

Have a happy day!  Amy

 "The Lordliveth and blessed be the Rock and let the God of my salvation be exalted!"

When we call on Him, He answers so faithfully!  I'm so thankful for the healing that Jesus has given me!  What a mighty God!  Sometimes God allows things to come into our lives to help us realize how serious life really is and also how important it is to fully trust in Him. I'm definetly realizing that.   Resting in the arms of Jesus in a hospital bed barely able to move on my own due to the generalized weakness that had swept over my body, opened my eyes to the power of God.  How quickly life is given and taken away!  It's so precious!  Trusting is definetly not one of the easiest things to learn but it's amazing how trusting gives us the strength to go on!  God is so gracious!

My wonderful and amazing Jake sent me these beautiful flowers today!

I went to visit some girls at BMABI last month.  I went to BI with them, so it was good to hang out with them again!  Needless to say in this picture we were quite chilled due to eating lots of starbucks ice cream I think.

Well, I must be on my merry way!  Hope you have a great weekend!  Always remember to cast every care on Jesus!  He is interceding to the Father for you and He's doin' it with all His heart!  God has been reminding me of the need to just give every part of my life to Him.  It's such a comfort to know that we don't need to worry because we can trust that Jesus, the Most High and Awesome God, is the One who created us and He's caring for us every day!  What a blessing!  Love to all!  -Amy
